HISTORY MATTERS ASSOCIATION has extensive presentation material with which to customize a quality Education Day Program based on The First World War.
HMA partners with museum sites which serve as host location for these events.
We have linked with four primary museum locations in Ontario and continue to develop working relationships with others. Currently we offer programming in London, Owen Sound, Mississauga, and Kitchener.
Grey Roots Museum & Archives is located just south of Owen Sound. This property features a gently sloping rise which we use to full advantage in our ASSAULT ON VIMY RIDGE.
Fanshawe Pioneer Village in London, Ontario, features many historic buildings and a 140' long replica WWI trench.

Waterloo Region Museum in Kitchener has a Mennonite homestead that serves to present a pacifist perspective on WWI. There is also a steam engine and railway platform which very much resembles a recruitment depot. Staff at this location recreate a 1914 atmosphere.

Benares Historic House in Mississauga showcases a home fitted out with 1914 era furnishings. The extensive grounds provide ample area for our programming.
